Our Farm

Irish Dexter Cattle

Dexters are a heritage cattle breed from Ireland known to yield moderate portion sizes packing intense beef flavor. We selected this breed because of its efficiency on forage and dual-purpose traits. Since being placed on the Livestock Conservancy priority list, this breed has had a resurgence with small producers and homesteaders.

We sell retail cuts through farmers' markets, local REKO rings, and word-of-mouth. Shares are also for custom processing. Contact us to put a deposit down for our next processing date.

AGH/Berkshire Pigs

We came across this cross-breed after pricing more popular homestead-focused heritage breeds. While we value heritage meat quality for the products we sell, we also realize we need to bring one product line to market quicker than others.

The AGH/Berkshire cross allows us to accomplish this while offering great-tasting heritage-quality pork in half the growing time.

    Roman Tufted Geese

Thought to be one of the oldest geese breeds, this compact, well-rounded bird weighs 10–12 pounds. Maturing rapidly, and despite their smaller size, they produce a plump roasting bird. Listed as Critical on the Livestock Conservancy’s Priority List, they generally have calm and pleasant dispositions, are great parents, and make effective watchdogs for small farms and homesteads.
